Here are some examples of my work with my latest studies. I've been focusing more on my 3D motion design over the past year and a half. I mainly use Cinema 4D and Redshift as my third party renderer. I also use Adobe CC for a few other tasks including compositing and texturing.
Lighting & Texturing
This is my favorite part of 3D. I like that I can use my previous experience in production to help influence my decisions for the digital set. I heavily rely on Redshift to create these great renders. I'm still learning more about the intricacies of the node system.
3D Modeling
I have experience with traditional SDS modeling, using deformers, cloners and spline to create geometry. Modeling is definitely not my favorite part but I'm confident in my skills to create anything within a stylized manner.
I have some example of photo realistic renders, but for the sake of my comfort zone, examples from my recent 3 Camping Tips video are my bread and butter.
Animation
If you have already worked with me in the past, you already know I started my motion design career as solely an animator. These skills have transferred over well into C4D and has improved control with the new tools the software offers.
Simulations
To the right are some examples of balloon, soft body and cloth simulations. I also have experience with rigid body, pyro and particles.
I'll admit, it's a huge render suck on my computer, but I really love experimenting with it and seeing all the different ways I can use it.
Full-stack motion design
Below is an example of a fully rendered 15 second spot. I have my viewport render on the right side to demonstrate some of the geometry in the render. To see a bigger breakdown, check out the full page on my portfolio.
