Icon Animation
This is a demo board featuring my work in Rive. This is NOT just a prototype. This is a fully functioning, production ready file that can be sent directly to a dev for implementation. You can check out all the main benefits on their page. Instead of a dev having to code all of this, design and animation decisions can stay within the hands of creative and speed up the entire process.
Below I have a set of five icons that have hover and click functions as well as an active / inactive function for the heart.
Using the State Machine
This is a quick example on how the interactivity is created. This is one of my log webs using the state machine. It shows the path of the animation. From Idle until the hover animation is triggered and then hover off is triggered which puts it back into idle.
Homepage Looping Animation
This is an animation that I created for a client's new homepage test. They wanted it to loop seamlessly into their page. The beauty of Rive is that it runs so fast compared to any other formats. I was sent a Figma file with the homepage design and I was able to import and animate. The character took a bit of work with rebuilding and preparing it to be rigged.
